Hey there! Welcome to my blog. My name is Tola and I’m glad you’ve decided to stop by.

After years of saying how much I wanted to travel abroad, I finally did it. I spent six eye-opening, inspiring weeks in Costa Rica, volunteering in the city of Heredia and traveling around the country in my spare time. This blog originally started as a way for me to document that particular experience, but I discovered that I liked writing so much that I wanted to keep it going.

I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia but I currently live and go to school in Miami, Florida. Fingers crossed, by the end of 2016, I’ll have a Master’s degree in Public Administration! (*does happy dance*)
