Hey there! Welcome back to my blog 🙂

In less than a month, I’ll be jetting off on a brand new travel adventure, this time to the Far East! I’m super excited to share where I’m going with you guys (any guesses as to where?), but I don’t want to ruin the surprise, so check back soon (or better yet, subscribe) for that update.

In the meantime, I wanted to take the opportunity to share a little more about myself with you guys in a fun travel Q&A.

How many countries have you traveled to? So far only 3, but that number will be growing.

What is your dream travel destination? It was so hard to pick just one! But these two countries are neighbors, so I think you’ll forgive me. I chose New Zealand and Australia. The Lord of the Rings movies are my favorite movies of all time and when I found out they were filmed in New Zealand (I must see Hobbiton), the island nation moved to the top of my travel list. As for Australia, I feel like I’ve been in love with the country forever and it’s also a life goal of mine to see Uluru in person.

What do you love most about traveling? The people I meet. Definitely. I’ve made so many new friends and had so many great experiences just from getting to know people during my travels. It’s so great.

How many languages do you speak? Lol, I am that stereotypical American. I only speak one language, currently. Pero, estoy aprendiendo Español and I’m working my hardest to become fluent.

Do you have any favorite travel blogs? I sure do and way too many to count. Here’s a few: Hannah on the Map, P.S. I’m On My Way, Life Reengineered, The Blog Abroad: Chronicles of an Adventure Junkie, On the Luce, Captain’s Log Travels, and many more.

Name one travel souvenir that you bring back from every trip. This might sound weird but, the answer is mugs, haha! I love tea (I usually have at least one cup every day) and every time I look at a mug that I bought while traveling, I have a pleasant flashback to where I was when I got it and the feeling of being in that place. Hand-painted ones are the best!

Favorite travel memory/experience? This is another hard one because I’ve had so many great moments, but one that easily stands out in my mind is the Tsarevets fortress in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. I love history, so I always try to visit a least one site of historical significance wherever I go and Tsarevets was just amazing. It looks like something out of an epic made-for-tv period drama and the story about the fortress is fascinating. Plus the town itself is so charming and picturesque, especially when viewed from the top of the fortress.

Any future travel goals? I definitely plan to go back to Nigeria and I really want to do a cross-country road trip in the U.S. with my sisters and/or friends.
